Soest – A 61-year-old man from Amersfoort threatened several people who were walking their dog in Soest with a knife, because he is afraid of dogs. De Amersfoorter suffers from a psychiatric disorder, but because he does not want to participate in research, the nature of that disorder is unclear. The magistrate sentenced the man to 30 hours of community service. “I don’t dare to let my dog out there anymore,” says one of the victims.
