A man in Eskilstuna attacked his family’s dog with a knife. The dog suffered such severe injuries that it died. Now the man is charged with animal cruelty, reports SVT Nyheter Sörmland.
The drama unfolded in June last year. The man, who is in his 20s, stabbed the dog several times. According to the preliminary investigation, it caused great suffering to the dog, which then bled to death.
In police questioning, the man said that he did not remember anything that happened.
The man, who denies the crime, is also suspected of vandalism and minor drug offences.
