A man in his 20s was taken to hospital on Monday evening after being bitten by a loose dog in Malmö.

The police are now searching for the dog with drones.

The police in Malmö received an alarm at 10:18 p.m. that a large, light brown dog with a reflective leash was running loose on Lorensborg in Malmö.

A man in his 20s was taken to hospital by ambulance, with unclear injuries, after being bitten by the dog and a man in his 30s also suffered injuries, but it is unclear if he required hospital treatment.

During the night, the police tried to get hold of the dog with the help of, among other things, a drone equipped with a thermal camera, writes Sydsvenskan.

The dog is described as stressed and runs away from the patrols as soon as they approach it, according to information from the police to Sydsvenskan.

By midnight, the police had not been able to locate the dog’s owner.
