A man in Gothenburg was bitten in the face by a dog on Sunday afternoon. According to the police, the man’s own dog was also badly bitten, writes Dagens Nyheter.

Police and ambulance were called to the scene at Slottsskogen at around 4 p.m.

– The man was plastered on the spot. His injuries were not considered serious. However, his dog has been taken to the vet, says Sara Lundh, police officer on duty, to DN.

The attacking dog and its owner were still at the scene when blue light crews arrived.

No one has been arrested, but the police have drawn up a report of causing bodily harm and vandalism.
