One person is in hospital with serious injuries following a dog attack.

Brant OPP said the individual was walking on Maple Avenue in Burford at about 1 pm on Monday, September 2 when an encounter with two dogs took place.
Police and Brantford-Brant EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital.
Police have charged the owner of the dogs – a 34-year-old Brant County resident – with owner of dog – fail to prevent dog from biting, attacking a person or domestic animal.
The status of the animals was not known at the time of publication.
Brant OPP said the Brant County Health Unit would have been notified of the incident. “The (dogs’) owner would have been provided with direction from them,” said police.
The health unit did not respond to a request for information prior to publication.
