21-year-old Tove from Vetlanda, who disappeared after a night out last Saturday, has not yet been found. She was reported missing on Sunday afternoon and during the week an intensive search for her has been underway. An area of just under two kilometers, which started from the center of Vetlanda, has been investigated, but without results. But now images from a parking lot, which is close to the pub where Tove was last seen, have caught the police’s interest. On a surveillance camera, two people can be seen walking up to a car that is driving in the parking lot just before half past two on Sunday. These images are considered by the police to be “very interesting”, according to information given to TV4 Nyheterna. Now the images are to be analyzed to determine whether it is Tove who is seen. On Friday, the police announced that they are ending the large search effort where they were assisted by the rescue service, the home guard, Missing people and the Maritime Rescue Society, but that the criminal investigation is still ongoing. And on Saturday, Missing people resumed the search after a one-day break. Two women in their 20s have been in custody on probable cause on suspicion of kidnapping since Thursday.
