In 2009 became Sundsvallstjejen Gina Dirawi known to the Swedish people with his comedy sketches on YouTube. With characters like Sister Khadija and Svenmother Bettan she played with stereotypes, and the clips attracted millions of viewers.

It’s not just Idol that Gina Dirawi is current with in 2024. On the first day of Musikhjälpen, she is the program’s first guest. When Sundsvall’s newspaper recently asked Gina Dirawi what she does today, she replied:
– Lots. I’ve been doing some TV coming in the spring. I make music, write my second novel, also write comics, build a company. A little bit of everything possible.
