When “Young Royals” premiered in the summer of 2021 hit Edwin Ryding through with a thud and a bang – all over the world. In the Netflix series, Ryding plays the character of a prince Wilhelm who falls in love with his schoolmate Simonplayed by none other than the artist Omar Rudberg.
And the love drama, which takes place at a boarding school outside Stockholm, has indeed become a global success. As of March 2024, Ryding has over 2.4 million followers on Instagram and fans worldwide.

In fact, the actor told how, during a trip in France after the premiere of the series, he was stalked.

– I am in a relationship, he said then, but was otherwise very secretive, except that he stated that everything “feels very good”.
