Does apple cider vinegar really help you lose weight? We tested a cure

Does apple cider vinegar really help you lose weight We

At the forefront of the trend in recent years, cider vinegar can boast of its multiple benefits. Consumed in a certain way, it would be a good ally for weight loss. But, what is it really? We tested it and our verdict is final.

Known for its multiple benefits, cider vinegar is the popular product of the moment. Adored by Jessie Inchaupsé in her book Glucose Revolution, it has become, in a few years, an essential condiment to accompany weight loss. A new well-being habit, it has several definite advantages. But is it as effective as claimed?

Despite its very special taste, cider vinegar has been popular for a long time. It is said that Cleopatra, Hippocrates and even Christopher Columbus consumed it regularly. His effects on the body are varied since it acts both internally and externally: improvement of digestion and transit, improvement of the condition of the skin and hair, strengthening of the immune system and helps with hunger management and weight loss. In fact, the latter is entirely recommended when you want to lose a few pounds since it smoothes out glucose peaks in our body. It is also a excellent appetite suppressant. It provides a feeling of satiety and allows you to feel full more quickly. Thus, the number of calories ingested is lower. Some studies have proven that vinegar prevents fat storage and therefore reduces body fat.

On the other hand, to be effective, apple cider vinegar must be consumed in a special way. To reap all the benefits, it’s not enough to garnish your green salad with it. You should in fact ingest 3 tablespoons of cider vinegar per day. It is possible to take it at different times of the day, for example, on an empty stomach in the morning, before a meal, after a meal, before sleeping.

We tested a cider vinegar cure and here is our opinion

To find out for certain, we decided to test a course of cider vinegar over 1 month. For this, we chose Archie brand cider vinegar which seems to be the best on the market.

Its taste first? Amazing! Neither good nor bad… Its acidity can be disturbing at first, but you end up getting used to it quickly. To consume it correctly, you must mix a tablespoon with a small glass of water. I chose to take it on an empty stomach in the morning and before each meal, as it is at these times of the day that it seems to be most effective. Acetic acid present in this condiment provides several benefits that I felt during the treatment. Firstly, in terms of regulating my appetite. During the day, I felt less hungry, less sweet cravings and fewer cravings. During lunch and dinner, I calmed down more quickly, I didn’t necessarily need to have dessert for example. Also, I felt less bloated, with a flatter stomach, and much more in shape than usual.

Let us not forget, however, that the cider vinegar is not miraculous and will only be effective if you combine it with a varied and balanced diet.
