Doctors of the World is a medical non-governmental organization for international solidarity created in 1980 by Bernard Kouchner, former French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs. THE Dr. Florence Rigal is the current President of the association. An internist, she has been involved with Doctors of the World since the crisis in Rwanda in 1994.
