Doctolib offers a new tab called Health allowing you to gather medical information and easily share it with professionals. Enough to greatly simplify the medical monitoring of patients.

Doctolib, the platform used to make medical appointments online, has continued to expand for several months. In addition to connecting patients and practitioners, it really seeks to improve patient care and save time for health professionals. For this, it now welcomes an intelligent medical assistant powered by AI capable of writing reports of consultations (see our article). The next step is the addition, this Wednesday, November 20, of a new tab, called “Health”, which aims to simplify doctors’ access to patients’ personal data. It will be gradually enriched in the coming months.

Santé Doctolib: a tab to simplify patient monitoring

“Health” is intended to be a more simplified version of “My health space”. As a reminder, the latter is a personal and secure digital space, a digital safe, offered by Health Insurance and the Ministry of Health. It is, in a way, a digital health record of all insured people in France. The new tab will allow you to gather all your personal information related to your health, such as a vaccination record, possible allergies or even current treatments.

The objective is to be able to quickly and easily share this information with the different caregivers we see. “This mission also aims to improve access to care and the health of patients”explains Stanislas Niox-Chateau, the boss of the platform, in the columns of West France. For patients, Doctolib also plans to offer in 2025 and 2026 “personalized medical content by pathology, so that patients have the right information”thus making them proactive in their care. “We want ‘Health’ to be action-oriented, that prevention information can trigger new habits or make an appointment”. Another illustration of the growing role that digital solutions play in our health system.
