The Elder Escrolls Online is launching soon with the new Gold Road expansion. There is also a success that is particularly grindy. MeinMMO tells you the details.

What about ESO? Elder Scrolls Online players can look forward to a new expansion. The Gold Road expansion follows directly on from the end of the previous Necrom expansion. A special highlight is the new scriptural teaching feature. There will also be new dungeons, public dungeons, 12-player trials and world events.

The new expansion of ESO also introduces a new achievement to the MMORPG: Adventurers over the course of a decade – and achievements play a big role in MMORPGs. Many players are really passionate about it. Some achievements require an immense amount of time or are exceptionally demanding: In FFXIV, it took someone a decade to complete all the achievements.

The new achievement in ESO should be more than a trophy. It is intended to be a recognition of the countless hours you have spent – or will spend – in Tamriel over the past 10 years.

New achievement tests your love for the game

What do I have to do to be successful? The conditions for this success are certainly demanding. It affects virtually every zone and main story quest in ESO.

  • The achievements Hero of the Aldmeri Dominion, Daggerfall Covenant, Ebonheart Pact
  • Complete the ESO main story and defeat Molag Bal
    Completes the main story of the following areas:

  • Gold Coast
  • Vvardenfell
  • Clockwork City
  • Summerset
  • Murkmire
  • Northern Elsweyr
  • Southern Elsweyr

  • High Isle
  • Galen

  • West Weald

    • If you’ve already done some of this because you’ve been playing for a while, then you may already be halfway to success. But for newbies and non-veterans, success is quite grindy and takes many hours.

    What is the reward for success? As a reward, you will receive a skin called Fractured Glory, which is intended to symbolize your dedication to the game and make you recognizable as a true veteran of Tamriel.
