Increased number of thefts – BMW brand cars particularly affected
The police in Skaraborg have gone out on their Facebook page where they warn of an increased number of thefts “for both interior and exterior of various models of BMW”. The areas of Skövde, Skara and Tidaholm are particularly vulnerable.
According to the police, a large proportion of the thefts have occurred in public parking lots and therefore motorists are urged to park their cars in private garages if possible.
“We still call for greater attention and to preferably park your car in the garage if possible or on your driveway,” the police in Skaraborg write on their Facebook page.
