The mug was sold for SEK 167,000
However, it is far from games and consoles that can be worth large sums of money. Should you instead sit inside a mug made by the confectionery giant Fazer, then you can be good for SEK 167,000. At least that’s what one seller managed to auction off his rarity for 2022.

Something else, in addition to mugs and game consoles, that has become really popular in recent years is comic books. In 2024, the sale of comic books on the auction market Tradera has increased by as much as 27 percent, compared to 2023.
– It is very popular. Roughly 150,000 comic books are sold a year at Tradera, the majority of which are Swedish comic books, says Tradera’s communications manager, Sofia Hagelinto Nyheter24.

The comic books are worth up to SEK 89,500
When demand picks up, there are some real classics that, to say the least, stand out from the crowd and can pull away well in price.
– The average price of comic books is SEK 123, but of course the price varies a lot depending on how unique the magazine is and what condition it is in, says Hagelin and adds:
– The first issue of famous series such as Kalle Anka, Fantomen, and Bamse can run away for many thousands of dollars, if the copy is in good condition.

5. The Spider, Marvel #1:
The Spiderman, or Spider as the newspaper was then called, has been sold for SEK 31,513 on Tradera.

4. Teddy bear number 1, 1973:
The first edition of the Bamse newspaper was taken home after the auction ended for the tidy sum of SEK 35,000.

The newspaper was sold for SEK 50,500 after the auction ended.

1. Donald Duck & co number 1, 1948:
The most expensive comic book sold at Tradera is the first edition of Donald Duck from 1948. After the auction ended, the magazine was sold for the breathtaking amount of SEK 89,500.
