A man in France has been fined just over SEK 2,000 – for using the speaker on the mobile phone, writes CNN.
The man, named Davidtalked on the phone with his sister at speakers at Nante’s train station.
Suddenly, a guard from France’s state railway company, SNCF, emerged and interrupted him.
– A security guard from SNCF told me that if I didn’t turn off the speaker mode I would get a fine of 150 euros, he tells CNN’s partner Bfmtv.

Got fined 200 euros
David at first thought it was a joke, but it wasn’t.
– I think the person was offended. She took out her writing block and fine me.
In the end, he was fined 200 euros, when he did not pay directly on site.

Shall appeal
David tells BFMTV that he has hired a lawyer and plans to appeal the cure.
