“Do we have to complain about every detail?” – Fans say Diablo 4 is much better right now, they just shouldn’t see the bad all the time

There is currently a lot of complaining about Season 6 and the changes in Diablo 4. However, players are currently also finding positive aspects that make the game much better than before and say: You don’t have to complain about everything.

Diablo 4 is getting a lot of criticism in Season 6. The season mechanic, the realm shifter, was too slow for many people and opals didn’t work properly. Players also complained that common crafting mats drop far too rarely and that they cannot upgrade their gear. Blizzard brought an update to the game for both.

If you look around Reddit, you will find numerous threads criticizing Diablo 4. However, one player now writes in a post on Reddit that he thinks the new changes and the pace of the game are so much better. The season lasts longer than three weeks, the players should relax, chop monsters and have fun, he says. Top builds just take time. He asks if there’s really anything to be upset about that Diablo 4 is a “real grind.”

What do the players praise? In the comments, the community discusses the status of Diablo 4. Individual users agree with the creator of the post. NetBurstPresler praises the changes to the Paragon system and difficulty levels.

Since Season 6, the max level has been level 60 and you collect Paragon points separately, up to 300 points. In another post on Reddit, a player notes that this always gives a feeling of progress. You don’t lose anything by extending the grind. He also thinks it makes sense that you can only equip five Paragon boards, as it is “user-friendly.”

To this end, Blizzard has abolished the often criticized world levels and introduced new difficulty levels, which you can now unlock in the pit. You can find out more about this in the video:

“99% of drops are worthless”

This is what the opposing voices say: Already on the PTR, players have criticized the changes to the loot that Blizzard has made. The community found: Diablo 4 is too strenuous with Season 6. The tenor of the comments in the Reddit post is that many players are still dissatisfied with the loot system – be it in terms of drops or crafting.

Blizzard has listened to the criticism from the PTR and made further changes to the loot for Season 6, but that doesn’t seem to be enough for the community.

The user Marshmallow-Bun thinks it’s good that drops are less frequent – but then they have to be useful. The majority of the loot is worthless. This is even worse in Season 6, as bequeathed items drop less frequently and are 99% useless at the same time. There is a lack of balancing here.

Crafting and especially completion also seem to frustrate players. decadent-dragon notes that completing it is no fun. “I would prefer if finishing was more expensive but I could choose what I wanted instead of rolling over and over again. “I reset my helmet probably 15 times to get ‘maximum health’ twice,” he writes.

In general, many people write that they simply don’t like the loot system since Season 6. Jafar_420 says you’re more likely to find uniques and mythics than strong legacy items that fit the gear. And SamMerlini notes that there is a difference between a meaningful grind and stretching out playing time for no reason.

It is unclear whether Blizzard will adjust the loot system again, but the developers often listen to criticism and bring updates to the game. Recently, many players criticized the lack of regular mats, which became an annoying grind. Rawhide and iron chunks in particular became the new bottleneck in Season 6 and prevented players from improving their gear.
