Do special situations ruin Ilves season Is OIli Jokinen pulling

In the semi-finals of the Finnish Ice Hockey League, three stalls will be played today, Wednesday. Expert Topi Nättinen went through the setup and the keys to the solution one set at a time.

Today, as many as three decisive semi-finals will be seen in the Finnish Ice Hockey League. Flies, Jukurit and HIFK stretched the solution of their series to the seventh game yesterday.

The last time three stand-alone games were played in the Finnish Championship League was on the same day in 2003. The Best of Seven format was introduced in the Finnish Championship League that year.

We visited Sports as an expert Topi Nättinen with going through the setups and settlement keys for Wednesday’s matches series at a time.

Ilves – Flies

Previous matches in the series:
Ilves – Flies 5–1
Flies – only 1-2 and
Ilves – Flies 1-2 and
Flies – Ilves 3–2 and
Ilves – Flies 1–0
Flies – Ilves 2–1

– The flies have returned to levels from 0-2 and 2-3, so they shouldn’t break. They scored two goals in the last match with superiority. Superiority and good Underpower are their weapons, Topi Nättinen, an expert in Sports, reflects.

The special situation gambling of Tampere residents has not been as good. Ilves have conceded five goals with underpower, the weakest in the playoffs (66.67%). Superiority has also been successful by only 13.3%.

– The lynx’s special situation gambling has been really bad. Even now, both goals were underperforming on their own and they themselves did not take advantage of their superiority. Special situations are what are going to destroy this lynx season. The goalkeeper game and everything else seems to be fine, Nättinen says.

Admittedly, the appearance reminds us that in a single match, the necessary superiority goal can come.

– It will be interesting to see, for example, whether Henrik Haapala in a line-up that is one of Ilves ’superiority boosters. From the point of view of Ilves, I hope that Haapala would be playing even those possible superiorities, if he can play at all.

– Yes, “diesel” from the north has only accelerated its spending. Of course, the seventh game is somehow a coin toss, but yes I would turn this over to Flies. They have been ground so evenly. If there are special situations, the Flies will clear it, Nättinen predicts.

TPS – HIFK

Previous matches in the series:
TPS – HIFK 2-0
HIFK – TPS 4-3 and
TPS – HIFK 3-4 and
HIFK – TPS 5-7
TPS – HIFK 2-1
HIFK – TPS 3–2

In the match series between TPS and HIFK, each has been able to win two consecutive matches, but neither has significantly advanced in the other.

HIFK have had a lot of changes in their line-up, and for the last match HIFK got back into their playing group Jere Innalan, Roni Hirvosen, Teemu Turusen and Johan Motinin. Also head coach Ville Peltonen was seen again behind the bench after his corona isolation.

Nättinen ponders that the load distributed by the Helsinki players may turn the series to HIFK on Wednesday, as this spring the Finnish Champions League has been playing at a close pace.

– If you think about math, then HIFK has players who haven’t played a full six matches, while TPS seems to only have a stand-up defender Johan Ivarsson, who did not play in the opening match. By the way, they have played exactly the same and also the goalkeeper Andrei Karejev has been playing all the time.

However, anything can happen in a standstill game.

– Everyone catches fire. However, due to the load, I would turn to HIFK, even though one hockey match can go any way and TPS has been allowed to drum in peace. It is also a good situation for TPS that there are no uncertainties.

Jukurit – KooKoo

Previous matches in the series:
Jukurit – KooKoo 1-3
KooKoo – Jukurit 3–2
Jukurit – KooKoo 1–0
KooKoo – Jukurit 2-3 and
Jukurit – KooKoo 1–5
KooKoo – Jukurit 1-2

KooKoo took the driver’s place with two wins in the series, but Jukurit has since jumped into the game levels twice on the away field in Kouvola.

Jukurit took a surprise card to the finish line on Tuesday after playing four matches this season in the Finnish Championship. Karolus Kaarlehto repulsed at the gate of Mikkeli. Kaarlehto rebounded 34 times and conceded only one goal 16 seconds before the final buzzer.

If Nättinen were the coach of the Jukuri, he would still score Oskari Salminenif only he is okay.

– Kaarlehto probably loaded, if I don’t say his whole life, his whole hockey career into that match. It was by far his most important match of his entire career. He only had a few league matches below this season. On Wednesday, you should get the same charge even in the most important place.

– If my health allows, I would put Salminen in the paint anyway. This flute day could have done even good. If this was even calculated, then this went Olli Jokisen and his team to the spike. Well played.

Nättinen sees that in terms of power relations, the encounter between Jukuri and KooKoo is very circular. However, the difference may be found in the goalkeeper game.

Nick Malik played a good game on Tuesday, although the goal is certainly a bit annoying. He has been so good that if he succeeds, KooKoo will make the necessary goals. Salminen has unfortunately not been at the level required in the playoffs.

– Now Salminen has rested, but it’s hard to say how this series will end. I don’t hope it crashes into the goalkeeper game, but it gives a chance. That’s why it crashes a bit on KooKoo’s side, Nättinen concludes.

The only team to have a place in the semi-finals at this stage has been secured by Tappara, who tamed Luko with 4-1 victories. The semi-finals start on Friday.
