Do not plug in solar power

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

The Swedish Electrical Safety Authority’s warning comes after interest in solar energy has increased among residents in apartments. On the European market, smaller solar cell systems adapted for, for example, balconies are marketed, and in Germany over 200,000 systems have been installed in recent years, according to the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority.

In Sweden, there is a solar cell package for connection with a plug, but this was rejected last year by the utility and covered by a sales ban.

Anyone who is concerned about high energy costs should first review their consumption.

“You can also suggest that the property owner or housing association install solar cells on the roof of the building,” says Mikael Carlson, technical expert at the Swedish Electricity Safety Agency, in a press release.
