Djurgården’s Dick Axelsson is forced to fine after filming

He has previously been reported to the disciplinary committee when he wore his neck protection in the wrong way against Karlskoga.
Now things are storming around Dick Axelsson again. Djurgården’s comeback star has filmed a report.

Zoo star Dick Axelsson fined for filming in the hockey Allsvenskan match against Kalmar on Friday. But the 37-year-old veteran denies.

“Hurts my hockey heart”

He absolutely rages against the reason for the report, something he does not want to be associated with at all.

“The fact that I am registered for filming hurts my hockey heart. Filming is disgusting behavior and something I don’t want to be associated with, thank you!”, says Axelsson in his address to the ice hockey disciplinary committee.

The player believes that the opposing player is locking his left leg with his club, something that the disciplinary committee cannot verify through the video sequence of the incident.

Instead, Djurgårdsspelaren is fined 5,000 kroner for throwing himself.

Dick Axelsson always ends up in the spotlight – for better or for worse.
