The words about the star
Goalkeeper Adam Reideborn chose to fulfill his contract, and last week he became champion for the second year in a row with the military team CSKA. Fredrik Claesson also became champion, who, unlike Reideborn, moved to CSKA Moscow during the war. Last winter, he also extended the contract.
Adam Reideborn’s contract with CSKA Moscow now expires, but immediately after the KHL title, he opened the door for a continuation. At the same time, some rumors have placed the goalkeeper in Djurgården, who plays in the Hockeyallsvenskan next season. But Djurgården’s sporting director KG Stoppel is now putting down all rumors about a possible return, as he says that Reideborn is not even theoretically a possible player for the club.

Now knocking down a comeback
KG Stoppel further says that he does not want to comment on it in any other way than the following words, and that is the reason why Reideborn chose to continue playing in Russia even though it is war that is the basis for it.
– It is not a question to discuss. I don’t want to comment on that, but our position is quite clear today, he says.
And the same applies to Fredrik Claesson, who thus chose to go to CSKA during the war, unlike other Swedes in the KHL, who were already under contract.
– It has not been discussed. You probably have to be careful about generalizing, you have to be able to evaluate each question according to the situation. Otherwise it can get crazy. But as the situation stands, it has not been an issue, says Stoppel.
