Djurgården is ready for the semi-finals.
At home at Hovet, they closed the match series against Björklöven.

Just like in match 1 at Hovet, Djurgården set full speed from the first moment and stepped up to a 2-0 lead. Axel Andersson scored the lead after just 20 seconds and then Marcus Krüger hit a rebound after five minutes of play to make it 2-0.

Even though Björklöven got back into the game in terms of goals when Alexander Wiklund equalized after 26 seconds of play in the second period, Djurgården shot new momentum with double goals. 4-2 came from Olle Liss, who thus scored his first playoff goal for this year.

But Djurgården suffered a blow in the second period when Maxime Fortier tackled Marcus Krüger. However, Krüger was able to complete the match.

– That should be deportation. It’s a real tackle, commented “Daggen” Eriksson on TV4.

With one minute and three seconds left on the clock, Björklöven reduced the lead when Liam Dower Nilsson served Scott Pooley who raked in 4-3, but Björklöven didn’t get any closer than that. Djurgården is ready for the semi-finals. For Björklöven, the season is over.

When asked if he had a dream opponent in the semi-finals, he chose to duck away:
