A 28-year-old doctoral student is charged with the crime of disrupting public order, writes South Sweden. The man disrupted order when he sat in the audience gallery in the Riksdag in April and shouted “release the eight who are arrested”. It was a reference to climate activists arrested for participating in demonstrations.

The man, who by day is a researcher at Lund University, was lifted out by the guards. He denies wrongdoing but admits he shouted.

It is the same man who stopped the artist Loreen’s performance during Melodifestivalen in February. For this he has been charged with trespassing.
