The border police’s IT system has crashed, causing long waiting times for travelers at Arlanda, among other places, Expressen reports.
– It is the border police that has an ongoing IT problem that means it takes longer to simply pass the border control. Information about the disturbance can be answered by the police, says Robert Pletzin, press manager at Swedavia to the newspaper.
The police spokesperson in Stockholm confirms that the border police are experiencing disturbances.
– It is a nationwide problem. It is not just Arlanda that is affected, says Towe Hägg to Expressen.
It is unclear what caused the problems.
