The weather has caused green shoots and ear sprouts – which are unwanted shoots and sprouts – to appear in the crops, which poses a danger to grain production.
In order to provide fire suppression, an exemption is granted for the products Credit Xtreme, Spectra FL and Jablo FL – three plant protection products with the active substance glyphosate. The dispensation applies to use against green shoots and ear germination in cultivations of rye, triticale, wheat, barley and oats, writes the Chemicals Inspectorate.
The three agents have previously been approved for other uses in agriculture.
Harvests from farms where the funds are used may only be used for feed and the production of ethanol for technical use.
The dispensation is valid until October 15.
