On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Disneyland Paris park, a new universe dedicated to Marvel opens its doors. From July 20, Marvel Avengers Campus is preparing to welcome and train the next generation of Super Heroes!

Marvel Avengers Campus, the new universe of Disneyland

From July 20, 2022visitors to Disneyland Paris will be able to discover the brand new area dedicated to superheroes: the Marvel Avengers Campus! Designed by Tony Stark himself, it is specially created for discover, recruit and train future superheroes. Visitors will be able to create their own story alongside the Avengers, as many encounters are planned. In the Training Center, they can meet their heroes and book a time slot to film a dynamic animated sequence of their interactions with Captain Marvel or Iron Man thanks to the Disney PhotoPassTM. Thrill-seekers will appreciate the new attraction Avengers Assemble : Flight Force, a high-speed roller coaster. In Spider-Man WEB Adventure, the visitors’ mission will be to launch webs like the superhero in a whole new kind of attraction. And that’s not all ! New restaurants have been created for the occasion, such as the innovative scientific laboratory Pym Kitchen, the Stark Factory, a fast food service or the WEB food truck. Finally, at the Mission Equipment store, there will be new clothing and accessories dedicated to the Marvel universe, such as Spider-Man boots!

Disneyland Paris celebrates its 30th anniversary: ​​what program?

On April 12, 1992 Disneyland Paris opened, the kingdom of dreams and magic that continues to amaze young and old for 30 years. 375 million visitors later, Disneyland Paris rose to first place among tourist destinations in Europe. A new era under the sign of transformation, creativity and new technologies began on March 6, 2022. Don’t miss the show “Let’s dream… and the world lights up!”, the nocturnal sequence “Disney D-Light” which features a ballet of drones, and the new Fairy Gardens, where art blends with nature! And that’s not all ! We can once again approach the Disney characters to strike a pose with them, and even cuddle Plutot by hugging him!

What new shows for the 30th anniversary of Disneyland Paris?

The show “Let’s dream… and the world lights up!”

For the 30th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris, a new show is presented daily – and several times a day – in the central square of the Disneyland Park, at the foot of the Sleeping Beauty Castle, brand new after 12 months of renovation. Composed of three themes celebrating the power of laughter, passion and dreams, it features more than 30 Disney Characters and dancers with new colorful floats and an original musical composition. Our advice? Stand in the center of the square, facing the Sleeping Beauty Castle, to fully enjoy the show!

The sectacle Disney D-Light

As night falls, don’t miss the show Disney D-Lighta new pre-show combining video projection, luminous water jets, light effects, mist, lasers, famous Disney music, and above all, a drone choreography, to offer an additional touch of magic around the iconic Château. This ballet of drones will draw just above the Castle of Sleeping Beauty, a sparkling number “30” in the sky, on the new musical anthem of the 30th Anniversary: ​​”A world that lights up”.

The return of the Lion King show

On October 23, the Lion King made its grand return to Disneyland Paris thanks to the show The Lion King & the Rhythms of the Earth ! During this show of about 30 minutes created especially for Disneyland Park. Singers, dancers, acrobats and percussionists bring the adventures of Simba, Nala, Rafiki, Timon and Pumbaa to life with impressive choreography and original costumes. The show takes place every day at the Frontierland Theater and allows you to (re)live the cult moments of the film The Lion King with music that rocked several generations, re-orchestrated by Disneyland Paris. The show is also “chansigné” in French sign language weekends (subject to availability). The “chansigne” is a form of expression that choreographs the movements and allows to transcribe the lyrics as well as the intensity and the emotion of a song.

Minnie Mouse’s first pantsuit designed by Stella McCartney. For the 30th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris, Minnie called on British designer Stella McCartney to design her first pantsuit at Disneyland Paris. Stella McCartney will also be selling a unique Minnie Mouse t-shirt for International Women’s Day. This t-shirt is available exclusively online and in Stella stores from March 8, 2022.

10 magical gardens in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle

10 magical gardens. Fairy Gardens – made up of 10 themed gardens – are appearing in Disneyland Park. Installed in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle, they stage 30 original works that celebrate nature and embody the diversity of Disney and Pixar Characters. From windmills for children to the world of Salvador Dali, these creations combine mineral and vegetal, as well as colors and luminescent effects to create an immersive atmosphere in the heart of Central Plaza. At night, these gardens light up!
