The sci-fi series Futurama by Simpsons creator Matt Groening last ended in 2013. At the beginning of February 2023, it was then announced that new episodes of the animated cult hit would be coming this year. Now he became Start of season 11 Futurama also confirmed for Disney+ in Germany.

After contract negotiations, the original voice actors return for the new Futurama episodes. The English version also features John DiMaggio as Bender, Billy West as Fry and Katey Sagal as Leela.

Disney’s press release announced that a total of 10 new episodes are just as suitable for Futurama newcomers as for long-time fanswho can look forward to the resolution of old mysteries.
