Descendants 4: Fantasy teenagers have to prevent a catastrophe by traveling through time
The fourth Descendants film moves away from the protagonists of the first three films and tells of the relationship between two new heroines. Red (Kylie Cantrall), the daughter of the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, meets Chloe (Malia Baker), the pupil of Cinderella (Brandy) and King Charming (Paolo Montalban). Together they have to travel back in time to stop Red’s mother from making a fatal mistake that threatens the entire world of the fantasy film.
Many fans will be happy that Disney is continuing the Descendants franchise. A sequel makes a lot of sense, especially from a financial perspective. As What’s on Disney+ reports, the music pieces from the first fantasy musical films Streamed as audio or video more than 15 billion (!) times. According to the article, The Rise of Red’s three predecessors were the most-watched films on US cable television among the 6-11 year old and 9-14 year old target groups.
