Late sequels to popular film series can be really successful. This was only proven this year by the box office high-flyer Top Gun: Maverick. No wonder even Disney on this films driven by nostalgia puts. Recent examples: Hocus Pocus 2, Cursed Again and Indiana Jones 5.
As reported by the Hollywood Reporter, the next Disney classic that will receive a late sequel is: Princess Diaries. The 2001 comedy is integral part of pop culturemarks Anne Hathaway’s big break and received her first sequel for three years with The Princess Diaries 2.
