In the US, the new season Grey’s Anatomy has long since started and has made radical changes in season 19. With a usual six-month delay, the new episodes are finally coming to us. Disney+ has the Germany start in a month announced.
Grey’s Anatomy: The 19th season will start on Disney+ and ProSieben in April
The start of Season 19 of Grey’s Anatomy at Disney+ stands out Monday 17 April 2023. As before, we get to see one episode per week on the streaming service. The TV broadcast follows at ProSieben a week later. If the series sticks to its previous evaluation, JoynPLUS subscribers should also experience the start of season 19 on April 17th. You can currently stream all previous seasons of Grey’s Anatomy on Disney+*.
What Makes Grey’s Anatomy Season 19 Special?
Grey’s Anatomy wins season 19 lots of new additions to the cast, because a whole bunch of new young assistant doctors now have to prove themselves as trainees at Gray Sloan Hospital. And it’s up to Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) to train them, while the old squad struggles with problems of their own after the hospital almost went under at the end of Season 18.

Anyone who has followed the news from the USA has of course known for a long time that Season 19 will see a change in Grey’s Anatomy. Because in the new season Grey’s Anatomy loses its main character Meredith. Actress Ellen Pompeo is leaving the series. Guest appearances are not out of the question thereafter, but without her as the leader, the staff and the entire series will have to regroup.
