The decision to close the investigation into incitement against a ethnic group against Richard Jomshof (SD) has been established after a review.
Chief prosecutor Joakim Zander decided to close the investigation at the end of September, as according to him there was no reason to assume that any crime had been committed.
The decision was appealed by two different applicants, including Nähatsgranskaren, but after a new examination, the decision to close down has now been upheld.
“I have gone through the case and share the chief prosecutor’s assessment. His decision should therefore not be changed, says chief prosecutor Mikael Björk at the Danish Prosecutor’s Office’s development centre, in a press release.
The suspicions that were initially investigated against Jomshof, chairman of the justice committee, concerned two pictures that he had shared on X in May this year.
