If you have stains in your toilet seat caused by limescale and urine, mix bicarbonate with vinegar which dissolves stuck minerals.
“Pour a deciliter of vinegar and a few tablespoons of bicarbonate into the toilet and wait for fifteen minutes. Then you scrub the toilet. Repeat if necessary.”, they write.
Something that also works well against mineral stains is citric acid, which you can pour in and leave overnight.
Do you have rust stains in the toilet? Then you should instead pour in hydrogen peroxide and let it stand for at least half an hour before scrubbing away the stains. This procedure may need to be repeated a couple of times if the stains are numerous, large and extensive.
