With reports of US audiences throwing up, Terrifier 2 was closed one of the biggest horror hypes of 2022. The excitement surrounding the film was also felt at the box office, where Damien Leone’s sequel grossed a whopping $11 million on a budget of $250,000.
In Germany, not even the first Terrifier feature film is available uncut, but you can watch the disturbing sequel instead completely uncut on the big screen enjoy! Terrifier 2 will be in theaters for one day on December 8th. Horror fans should take the chance, because the brutal film has already been denied an uncut FSK 18 rating for home cinema.

Terrifier 2 is an extremely brutal slasher and splatter epic
Damien Leone had seven times the budget for the sequel compared to the $35,000 predecessor. This is not only reflected in the tremendous running time of 138 minutes that Terrifier 2 achieves. The sequel also increases the number of dizzyingly brutal set pieces and killsin which the sinister serial killer Art the Clown murders in a variety of ways.
A sequence in which he torments, mutilates and tortures one of his victims for minutesis so explicit and merciless that it is one of the hardest scenes in recent years.
In contrast to the first Terrifier part, which reduces the classic slasher concept to the essentials in a minimalistic way and with practically no plot or character development, the sequel scatters more story between the extreme splatter scenes.
On the other hand, Terrifier 2 is more varied and sometimes amazes surreal dream sequences and hallucinationswhich Leone formally celebrates in addition to the once again amazingly handmade special effects.
Through his again completely silent spectacle, the equally cruel and chilling presence of Art the Clown conveyed primarily through facial expressions and gestures, David Howard Thornton again recommends itself as one of the best current horror icons.
