A project in a political context of transition
Since the August 2020 coup, the members of the Malian transitional council have been appointed and chosen by decree of the transitional president. In neighboring Burkina Faso, the personalities sitting in the National Transitional Assembly were also designated in 2022. Finally, in Niger, the National Assembly has not been sitting since the coup of July 26, 2023.
For the time being, no electoral deadline is planned in these three countries concerning the representation of the populations, whether at the national or local level.
