Waterfalls, large lakes, beautiful forest trails and old vestiges of the Gallo-Roman era: the Morvan is an ideal site to relax. Vézelay is a small town of almost 500 inhabitants only, but it has a superb basilica which each year brings its share of pilgrims and tourists. This village on the edge of the Morvan park is also known for its surrounding vineyards and for the remains of the ramparts that once protected the town.
