Discover the new iPad 10th generation

Apple has just unveiled the 10th generation for its best-known iPad. Always thought of as the entry level of the series, the iPad 10 is available in four distinct colors: silver, pink, blue and yellow. Everyone will therefore be able to find the color that they like the most for this new generation. The design of the 10th generation iPad remains fairly close to its predecessor despite a new Liquid Retina display. However, you will no longer have to rely on the main button, which disappears entirely! The Touch ID function, which allows you to unlock the iPad with your fingerprint, remains very present and transferred to the power button. The iPad 10 is also the first classic iPad to support Apple Pencil.

On the power side, iPad 10 gets A14 Bionic chip which was already found in the iPad Air and the iPhone 12 when it was released. Apple thus announces a performance gain of around 20% for the CPU and 10% for the graphics power of the iPad 10 compared to the previous generation. The Cellular version of the iPad 10 is also finally compatible with the communication bands 5G.

The other great novelty of the 10th generation iPad is the switch to the USC-C port! Exit the famous Lightning port which seems to be disappearing more and more from Apple devices following the European decree on the single charger. This should allow you to charge the iPad 10 more easily and efficiently than with the old Lightning charger which required you to stay on a connector from Apple.

The new 10th generation iPad will be available from October 26. The bad news about the iPad 10, however, is its price. The latter is rising due to inflation, and the 10th generation iPad is available from 589 euros. There is therefore an increase in any battery 200 euros compared to the previous generation of iPad! However, the latter remains available on the Apple Store as well as at specialist retailers.

The 9th generation iPad is usually available from 389 euros. However, it is not uncommon to find it on sale, especially during certain events (sales, Black Friday…). Two storage options are available (64GB and 256GB) as well as two colors (silver and space gray).

The iPad Pro M2 (also called iPad Pro 6th generation) was unveiled by Apple in the middle of October. This new version, however, has very few new features since we are mainly talking about the addition of the M2 chip. Apple announces that the iPad Pro M2 is capable of handling 40% more operations per second compared to the old version of the iPad Pro which was equipped with the M1 processor.

The old iPad Pro with the M1 chip is still available in several screen sizes depending on your needs. Promotions are sometimes offered on this professional version of the iPad, sometimes making it more interesting compared to other models if you have demanding needs, but a tight budget.

Count at least 899 euros for the 11-inch version, and 1219 euros for the 12.9-inch. Note that these two versions may be compatible with 5G communication networks if you have a relevant plan.

We sometimes tend to forget it, but the iPad Air is an excellent version of Apple’s tablet that falls between its high-end version and its more classic iteration. The 5th generation iPad Air features a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display and Apple’s M1 chip, which places it above the classic iPad and iPad mini in terms of Powerful. It is also equipped with a 12 Mpx wide-angle camera, a 12 Mpx FaceTime HD camera, and a storage space of up to 256 GB. Count at least 669 euros for its Wi-Fi version. -Fi, and 809 euros for the Wi-Fi + Cellular version.

The iPad Mini is currently available in its 6th generation. The latter has been on the market since September 2021. The iPad Mini (6th generation) notably has a revised and improved design to stick more closely to the iPad Air with its thicker square edges. The Touch ID function, which allows you to unlock the tablet by fingerprint, is now integrated into the power button. The front camera also features a new 12MP sensor.

The iPad Mini (6th generation) is usually available around 559 euros in its 64 GB version, and 729 euros for the 256 GB version. Four colors are available: space gray, starlight, purple and pink.

All these different versions of iPad are also available on Apple official website and Apple Stores. Note that these prices may change depending on stocks, but also on current events. So try to stay on the lookout so you don’t miss any price drops and bargains.
