The sales are the perfect time to get a new laptop. Products that already offered excellent value for money become even more competitive. This is the case of HP Pavilion 14-dv1041nf, a 14-inch ultraportable model currently offered at 599 euros instead of 999 euros.
A powerful device
This model has a bright 14-inch IPS screen (400 nits) with a viewing angle of 178° and displays a Full HD definition (1,920 x 1,080 pixel). The device was designed around a processor Intel Core i5 1155G7, i.e. the 11e generation, with four hearts physical and eight logical cores (threads) clocked at 2.5 GHz (4.5 GHz turbo). The G7 at the end means it’s optimized for graphics performance thanks to the integrated chip Intel Iris Xᵉ.
HP has been generous with memory, with 16 gigabytes of random access memory DDR4 3.200 MHz and 512 GB of storage in the form of a disc SSD NVMe for more speed. On the audio side, this HP Pavilion incorporates two speakers designed by specialists Bang & Olufsen.

The device also has full connectivity, with a port USB Type-C (DisplayPort 1.4 compatible) and two USB Type-A ports (classic form factor), one port hdmi 2.0 and a headphone and microphone jack. In addition, it incorporates Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, as well as a microSD card reader. HP has also included a fingerprint reader, which improves the security of its accounts. It also has a 720p webcam with microphones digital with integrated double entry and will therefore be ready for the videoconference without having to plug in anything.
This ultraportable is powered by a 43 Wh 3-cell battery, and HP announces an eight-hour battery life. Thanks to the HP Fast Charge system, it only takes 45 minutes to recharge the battery to 50%. Despite all this technology, this computer is a real ultraportable that weighs only 1.41 kilos. The device comes with Windows 11, McAfee LiveSafe, and a one-month free trial of Adobe, ExpressVPN, and LastPass Premium.
The manufacturer also offers a second configuration for 300 euros more, with a terabyte of storage (still in NVMe SSD) and above all a much more powerful Intel Core i7 1195G7 processor. With the current promotion, it drops below 900 euros.
