The statement said, “It was confirmed that the crew died at the scene. All of them were sent to the Lumut naval base military hospital for identification.” It was stated that an investigation would be launched into the cause of the accident.

Malaysian Defense Minister Mohamed Khaled Nordin said in his statement that the M503-3 helicopter and the Fennec military helicopter were rehearsing for the parade at the 90th anniversary celebrations of the Royal Malaysian Navy to be held on Saturday.

In the footage shared on local media, it was seen that one of the helicopters crashed into the other, and then both began to fall rapidly.

It was learned that one of the helicopters had 7 personnel and the other had 3 personnel.
