Heavy rains, which have been effective in Pakistan since 14 June, paralyzed life and caused many people to die. According to the data of Pakistan National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA), 75 people died in the last 24 hours in the country. The number of people who lost their lives in the heavy rains that have been effective throughout the country since 14 June increased to 1136, while the number of injured was 1634.
498,442 PEOPLE LIVE IN AID CAMPS
Due to heavy rains, 1 million 51 thousand 570 houses were damaged, 735 thousand 375 farm animals perished.
While approximately 33 million 46 thousand people are affected by the rains, 498 thousand 442 people live in the aid camps.
BOAT CARRYING FLOOD VICTIMS CAPTURED
According to national media reports, the boat capsized while 25 flood-affected people were being transported to safe places in Bilavalpur city of Sindh state.
13 people, including children, lost their lives in the accident, 8 people were rescued.
