Olaus Alisen’s Alabama missed the playoffs of the American college series.
The Finnish great promise of American football Olaus Alisen opinahjo Alabama experienced a bitter disappointment when the American NCAA College Series announced the teams for the playoffs on Sunday. Alabama didn’t make it to the 12 teams, and thus the NCAA championship remains a dream.
Alabama was ranked 11th in the NCAA team rankings, but was bypassed by SMU University in the playoff selections. This season, Alabama has won nine games and lost three, of which the losses to Vanderbilt and Oklahoma, who played a mediocre season, were obviously aggravating in the eyes of the selectors.
Alabama has one more game to play. It will face the University of Michigan on New Year’s Eve local time in Florida.
Offensive lineman Alinen has not been in the team’s starting lineup, but has played in every Alabama game this season. In his rookie season a year ago, Aline was seen in four matches, so progress has been made in the Finnish youngster’s career in a sport tinged with fierce competition.
