While Formula 1 has never been as popular as it is today, the studio Frontier Developments announces in a press release that his F1 Manager 2022 game did not meet with the expected success. With 600,000 copies sold since its release last August, the game is considered an underperformer, and the studio believes that it is the complicated economic context that is pushing players to buy new licenses sparingly. Of course, like everyone else, the studio took advantage of the holidays to increase sales and offer promotions to attract customers, but for a game that is developed in-house, it is indeed a big disappointment. Officials nevertheless hope to generate a turnover of around 113 million euros by May 31, 2023, the end of the current fiscal year, knowing that the initial objective was 153 million euros. Fortunately, the studio can count on Planet Zoo and Jurassic World Evolution 2 to strengthen its wallet, even if sales are at half mast. Result, the action of Frontier Developments fell by more than 40% on the stock market, following the publication of this financial report.
