Erwan’s family has launched a call for citizen mobilization in the hope of finding Erwan, missing for almost two months, outside a nightclub.

It’s been almost two months since young Erwan vanished from a nightclub in Deux-Sèvres. He was last seen leaving La Morinière in Moncoutant-sur-Sèvre on the night of February 10 to 11. Around 2:30 a.m., he left the scene on foot.

His family has not given up hope of finding him. This is why his mother-in-law launched a call for “citizen mobilization”. In an interview with BFMTV, she read the latter which “humbly asks each person to search each space again and again”. This appeal is addressed to each person within a “radius of 10, 20, 30 kilometers” around the place of Erwan’s disappearance.

She took this initiative in particular following progress in the Emile affair, whose bones were found this weekend. “It proved to us that even several months later, in areas where there had been searches, where people had raked the land, we could still find things today.” , she said. She also explains that the family currently has no information on the progress of the investigation. She then remains reachable at any time “in case Erwan calls or the gendarmes, in case there is the slightest information arriving”. The relatives also plan to organize a new hunt by the end of April.

Any avenues considered?

“The citizen appeal for Erwan” was also broadcast on the Facebook page, Find Erwan. This is aimed at each “inhabitant, walker, hiker, fisherman, hunter” but also “farmers, forest guards, municipal employees, truckers, construction workers” in the sector to whom it asks to “check each field, wood, point water, well, shed, agricultural building…”.

The family even discusses the different possible avenues, in particular that of the accident and kidnapping with sequestration, addressing the potential responsible for the disappearance of the young man.
