Botkyrka municipality’s response: “We have broken”

Nyheter24 has been in contact with Botkyrka municipality, which believes that they have implemented a series of changes since they found out how the person was treated.

– As director of administration, I have a great deal of responsibility for what happened. We have failed to ensure that adequate routines, working methods and approaches have been maintained and followed within the business, writes Jesper Theanderlabor market director at Botkyrka municipality.

When they received signals that the way of working did not seem correct, they chose to implement some changes. The municipality has, among other things, held training sessions, briefings and workshops with the staff. Jesper Theander also believes that there have been some personnel changes.

– New management came into place already this summer and then started development work, which contributed to the discovery of the shortcomings. We have established a new fifth unit area and thus reduced the number of employees per manager. It has created better conditions for staff and not least managers to lead and manage.
