In his two-point throws, Markkanen succeeded only twice out of eight attempts. In Utah, Markska scored more power points Collin Sexton, Keyonte George and John Collins. They each scored 19 points.

Utah head coach Will Hardy spoke directly about Markkanen’s situation after the match.

– Lauri threw threes very well, Hardy said, According to KSL Sports.

– But I think if you ask Lauri, he’s a little frustrated with his throwing, especially in the first period under the basket, Hardy continued.

Markkanen scored only 11 points in the previous game against Atlanta. Before that, he scored more than 20 points in his three previous games.

Utah slipped into a weak mood

After its player sales in early February, Utah has slipped into a weak mood. The team has won only one of their last eight matches.

Against a young and strong Orlando team, Utah still led at the beginning of the final quarter, but in the end Orlando ran away to a clear victory. The home team won the last minutes bluntly 11–4.

– We gave ourselves a chance to win. We want to be in that situation with two minutes left in the game. In the end, a few situations just didn’t turn out for us. Jalen Suggs hit his triples at the end. That can happen in an NBA game, Hardy commented.

Orlando’s star player Paolo Banchero scored 29 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
