21:13 – Hegerberg strikes down PSG!
It wasn’t even an action per se. At the middle line, Malard intercepts a Parisian pass. She transmits to Bacha who advances in her left lane. The side crosses from afar and deposits a marvel of ball on the head of Hegerberg in the surface. The Norwegian applies and sends the ball back where it came from for more power. Its trajectory lobes Votikova and lodges in the small net. Lyon take the advantage on their first opportunity (0-1).
21:11 – Fox covers well
Les Parisiennes want to play on the element of surprise and on their speed in spaces. On a long ball, Diani goes behind Mbock’s back but the Parisian striker pushes his ball too far. This allows Wendy Renard to cut the race and clear in touch.
21:09 – Cascarino in defense
Karchaoui decides to extend from a back position. Baltimore throws themselves into the depth but Cascarino makes the effort and passes in front of the Parisian and finally gets a foul by protecting her ball.
21:07 – PSG dominates
Didier Ollé-Nicolle’s players started their semi-final return from the right end by putting their foot on the ball and trying to put Lyonnaises in difficulty. Right side, Lawrence brings the surplus and manages to address a center in the surface. It takes the vigilance of Mbock to intercept the ball with his head.
21:05 – Welcome back from Henry
Left side, Baltimore tries to take advantage of the space in the back of Carpenter and accelerates the ball at the foot. It takes Henry back to stop him arming. New corner for PSG, which gives nothing.
21:04 – Dabritz countered
The second corner from Paris Saint-Germain does not cross the first post but the Lyon rearguard emerges in the axis. The ball arrives at the feet of Dabritz who misses his recovery from the left at 20 meters.
21:02 – The corner gives nothing
The first Parisian corner shot from the right corner is cleared at the far post. The ball returns to the box and the Lyon defense concedes a second corner;
21:00 – Kick off in Paris
Les Parisiennes kick off the semi-final second leg of the Champions League against Olympique Lyonnais.
20:55 – A lost defense
Since the beginning of March, Paris Saint-Germain have conceded 10 goals in 9 matches. An abnormal statistic since of the 23 previous meetings, the Ollé-Nicolle team had only conceded 8, including 6 during the slap received in Lyon (1-6).
20:51 – One last encouragement
Before tackling the return leg of the Champions League semi-final, the Olympique Lyonnais players gathered to form a circle and encourage each other one last time. Objective confirm the victory acquired in the first leg (3-2) and qualify for the final of the event.

20:50 – The final in sight
Olympique Lyonnais can reach their tenth Champions League final. The club have never failed in the semi-finals in their previous nine attempts. Paris Saint-Germain is aiming for its third Champions League final. In 2015 and 2017, he had come up against Olympique Lyonnais.
20:45 – Bompastor: “Being stronger defensively”
“We won and that allowed us to prepare for the return in a serene and confident way. At kick-off, we qualified”, recalled Sonia Bompastor, who insisted on the confidence that lives in her group and on the recovery work done for a week. An important dimension while the former player now on the bench wants to see her team close ranks, the two goals conceded being hardly to her liking. “We will have to make sure we are more solid defensively”she argued.
20:42 – Ollé-Nicolle: “We must do better”
“In terms of mentality, determination, the team has been very consistent. But we have to do better (…) We have the potential”, is convinced Didier Ollé-Nicolle. The Parisian coach even believes that his team has “very interesting leeway”.
