It was last summer that a woman discovered that panties were missing from her laundry basket and that several of her sex toys were missing. She sensed trouble and installed a surveillance camera.
And it was a pacifier – the thief fell into the trap.
A few weeks later, when the woman was away again, she could see her neighbor, a man in his 50s, climbing in through a window that was ajar. She was able to follow the man’s burglary through her home in real time and alerted the police.
When the police arrived at the residence, they managed to catch a glimpse of the backboard of the neighbor, who disappeared into a garden. Then a decision was made to search the house.
The man’s defense: “Interest in panties”
Then the police found a secret panty stash – with over 100 pairs of panties in different sizes, several sex toys and around 20 bras.
The plaintiff identifies a few of the items as hers, but does not recognize over 80 pairs of panties, bras and several dildos.
When asked where the rest of the underwear comes from, the man says he bought it and that he has an interest in panties.
In questioning, the man does not want to comment on the rest of the things the police found. He also says that he found it “exciting to screw up” the neighbor’s things and that’s why he did it.
Admits two counts of burglary
The man has admitted that he was inside the woman’s home on two occasions but that it was only on one occasion that he stole.
According to the prosecutor, the man has been inside the woman’s home four times, and the man is charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of attempted burglary.
