In Mullsjö there was an accident at 12.30 when a truck stood like a folding knife across the road. No other vehicles should have been involved in that accident and no one should have been injured.
– But it is very slippery in the place.
According to the rescue service, there have also been a couple of lighter departures with trucks in the municipality of Gislaved. There have also been several single-vehicle accidents, including on highway 40 in the vicinity of Forserum at around 11.30am.
On road 153 east of Smålandsstenar, several trucks are stationary on the carriageway at 1 p.m.
Earlier in the morning, at around 9.30, three cars collided on national highway 40 near Forserum. No one was injured. One car had to be recovered and the other two could be driven from the scene.
– The call to road users is to drive carefully out there, says the rescue service line operator.
