The burial place of the Argentine football legend should be moved to the center of the country’s capital, Buenos Aires.
The Argentine court is, among other things Sky News according to accepted that the football legend Diego Maradona being dug out of its grave.
Maradona’s family has requested that the body be moved to a new burial site to increase security. According to sources, Maradona’s offspring made a request to move the grave in May.
The soccer legend’s current grave is in the Jardin de Bella Vista cemetery, located about 31 kilometers northwest of Argentina’s capital, Buenos Aires. It is a private cemetery for family members only.
The new burial site would be in the center of Buenos Aires next to the Casa Rosada, the Presidential Palace of Argentina, and the burial building would be open to the public.
The court added that Maradona’s five children should decide when the transfer takes place.
Maradona is especially remembered for the events of the 1986 World Cup. Argentina won the world championship at that time.
Maradona died of a heart attack in November 2020.

Argentina’s legal system began of The Washington Post on Wednesday to investigate the causes of the football legend’s death. According to various sources, Maradona’s death was caused by a medical error by doctors and nurses. A total of eight members of the nursing staff are accused of manslaughter.
According to the prosecutor, they have not done enough to keep Maradona alive. The defendants have repeatedly denied that they were guilty of wrongdoing. If the neglect of care measures is true, the eight caregivers face prison sentences of up to 25 years.
This is just one of several unresolved controversies surrounding Maradona’s death. There are also ongoing legal battles over the football legend’s assets and the commercial use of his name and image.
