In the opening match of the NHL season in Prague, you could see the most amazing save of the whole season. The Finns lacked power points.

The opening round of the NHL ice hockey season didn’t even finish in Prague when the New Jersey Devils goalie Jacob Markström produced perhaps the most spectacular save of the season.

Buffalo Sabers forward Nicolas Aube-Kubel got a rebound from the line through the end in front of the goal. Reacting to the line drive, Marksröm was already out of the situation, but at the last moment stretched his stick in the path of the Sabers forward’s attempt.

The NHL season kicks off in Prague with two meetings between the Devils and the Sabres. The teams will play the second match on Saturday from 17:00.
