Djurgården lost at home against Kalmar in the hockey Allsvenskan.
Then the point king Dick Axelsson received a match penalty for saying something inappropriate to one of the line judges – he has also been reported to the disciplinary committee.
– We are focusing on the wrong things, says Dif coach Robert Kimby in TV4 Play.
He has never been the one who had the easiest time fitting into the ranks. Maybe that’s also what made that Dick Axelsson37, become such a big profile in Swedish hockey? He has been allowed to be a mixture of madman and genius.
Dick Axelsson received a match penalty
After Djurgården’s loss in the hockey Allsvenskan, 3-5 at home against Kalmar, there were again negative headlines about Axelsson, who could not keep his cool. Shortly after Stockholm’s 1-2 reduction, he had to go and sit in the penalty box, first with a two-minute penalty. Suddenly it was changed to a match penalty, for “abuse of officials”. He had said a couple of well-chosen words to the linesman Anna Hammer.
– Axelsson who said something to the linesman on the way to the penalty box, it seems. And Axelsson can leave, says the commentator Stefan Klemetz in TV4 Play’s broadcast.

The words to the linesman have now resulted in Dick being reported to the Hockey Allsvenskan’s disciplinary committee, which is far from the first time. This season alone, he has already been reported for incorrect protective equipment (5,000 kroner in fines) and filming. Over the years, he also has a history of being a strulpelle.
– He talks to the linesman. Something is being said. You can see the look on the linesman who immediately went up and talked to the head referee who gave a match penalty, says commentator Klemetz.
Djurgården missed the series lead
Djurgården’s trainer Robert Kimby was not particularly impressed by what he saw during the match. The team had the chance to take over first place in the table, but after the loss against league six Kalmar, it will now only be third place after 28 rounds played. Karlskoga and Björklöven are still ahead – in addition, Södertälje is hot on its heels.
– We are focusing on the wrong things, says Kimby.

He continues:
– Very disappointed with our effort. Coming into this match with a woeful attitude from the start. We are, quite frankly, humble. We are not prepared to take the job and it shows throughout the match. We are not satisfied with our match today. We have a bad attitude and it shows in the decisions we make. And then you cod towards Kalmar.
It’s old, regular Dick Axelsson. Mixes high and low. But still a lovable profile in this country. What do you think of him? Feel free to write a comment on Sportbibeln’s Facebook page.
