Seedo caused a furore at the age of 16 and was the fastest junior in the world at the shortest sprint distance. She even challenged her fellow townsman, sprint star Dafne Schippers, and was crowned Dutch champion in the 60 meters. A lingering ankle injury, followed by a torn hamstring, brought an abrupt halt to her progress.
